In today's rapidly changing business environment, innovation has become crucial for organizations to stay competitive and adapt to market dynamics. The purpose of innovation goes beyond creating value for individuals, organizations, or societies; it aims to contribute to a better and smarter future that enhances the quality of life for all.

The Innovation Maturity Assessment Framework, despite its value and contributions, has certain limitations that should be acknowledged. It is crucial to acknowledge that the IMAF cannot replace a comprehensive due diligence process. While the framework represents a significant step, particularly when utilized by individuals with solid knowledge of innovation, it should be viewed as a complementary tool rather than a standalone solution.

Secondly, given the dynamic nature of innovation, the evaluation indicators and levels incorporated in the IMAF may require adjustment and refinement over time. The framework is based on the literature available up until the knowledge cutoff date. Continuous monitoring and assessment of the framework's effectiveness are necessary to ensure its ongoing relevance and accuracy.
Our research methodology consists of three iterations: Literature Analysis, Interview Phase, and Survey Phase. In the first iteration, we thoroughly reviewed existing literature to identify key areas and criteria for building the Innovation Maturity Assessment Framework. This phase provided a solid theoretical foundation and enhanced the reliability of our evaluation process. More than 30 Articles were reviewed for the construction of the first model. During the initial phase of our research, we conducted a comprehensive analysis of existing models of innovation maturity, innovation assessment, and innovation readiness.

Moving to the second iteration, we conducted interviews to gain qualitative insights and understand the subject better. By employing qualitative analysis techniques, we uncovered meaningful patterns and diverse perspectives, enriching our understanding of the Innovation Maturity Framework.

In the third iteration, we conducted a survey to gather both quantitative and qualitative data, refining and enhancing the framework further. Utilizing various analytical techniques, we identified valuable criteria, assessed relationships between elements, and uncovered emerging themes and patterns within the data.
By following this systematic and iterative approach, we aim to develop a robust and comprehensive final framework for evaluating innovation maturity. Integrating theoretical insights, qualitative perspectives, and quantitative evidence ensures a well-rounded and validated Innovation Maturity Framework. This approach allows us to effectively guide and assess innovation maturity for different contexts, inspired by successful concepts such as the Maturity Model and Quality Management Maturity Grid.
